Shmulik Cohen
Traditional Jewosh food in the Oldest restaurant in town

Shmulik Cohen is perhaps the oldest restaurant in Tel-aviv that has been working non-stop from the day it was opened a long time ago up until today.
The restaurant was opened in 1936 by Shmulik and today this is the 3rd generation that is running the place (Shmulik's grandson).
The place is serving Eastern European Jewish food which was not change during the last 80 years, with some signature dishes like the clear chicken soup with kneidlach (matzah balls), the famous chopped liver and chopped Herring, kishke, slow cooked cow tongue, Vienna veal schnitzel and much more.
There is a lunch menu between 12:00-17:00 in which for 98 nis (about $25) you will get a starter of bread, salads, lemonade and a shot of homemade vodka plus a main course from the menu and a dessert.
