Chicho

Chicho is a Moroccan sandwich stand in Hacarmel market serving amazing meatballs in a homemade bread which is a kind of Moroccan Frenna bread, soft and spongy, just the kind to absorb the meatballs sauce. The stand was founded by Chicho who wanted to preserve his grandmother special sandwiches and opened the first branch in Haifa, the Tel-aviv branch is the second one. You can find all kinds of meatballs on the menu, beef meatballs in tomato sauce, lamb meatballs in Tahini, fish meatballs, vegetarian meatballs and even Vegan beet meatballs. The place offers deliveries so you can order their wonderful sandwiches to all Tel-aviv neighborhoods, but it's more fun to sit in the lively market on the bar.
