Perlin Bakery, although the new name will be always be known to the Tel-avivians as the Weeis bakery, a veteran bakery founded in 1960 and been delivering Hungarian and Mediterranean savory and sweet pastries.
The roots of Weeis bakery are Hungarian, 50 years ago, this bakery was making divine Hungarian cakes and pastries in times that Tel-aviv people would only eat one kind of simple bread.
The jewel of the place is the poppy seed Prasburg which is a yeasted dough pastry filled with poppy seeds, delicious pastry which you will not be able to get enough of.
Recently with an entrance of a new partner the Weeis bakery changed its name to Perlin bakery for formal reasons.
